Abstract

Discusses how the four articles in this issue (which describe classroom explorations and carefully considered relationships with the arts and the classroom curriculum) demonstrate that inclusion of the arts in the curriculum defies formulaic planning or standardization but rather reflects contextual decisions made by teacher and artist together as they explore the vast potential of such relationships.
