Focusing on Literacy Learning: But Where’s the Content?

Emphasizing content knowledge with little consideration for reading, writing, and thinking skills may go down in history as one of the greatest educational errors of all time, second only to thinking that English teachers are the only ones responsible for teaching literacy skills.
