Abstract

What does increased intellectual quality of student work look like in their writing? The authors tell how Authentic Intellectual Achievement, or AIA, can be used to measure this increase when used to evaluate authentic student writing. The article defines and gives examples of using authentic writing, which is vital to attaining this intellectual increase.
